South Lane Children's Choir

The South Lane Children's Choiris a community singing group made up of students from all over the South Lane area, and includes kids and youth from age 6 to 17.

They meet once a week throughout the school year, but they have remained past their regular season to bring their variety of songs to the Bohemia Mining Days audience for the first time. 

The group performs traditional choral music, as well as folk, jazz, multi-cultural and pop songs. 

 Choir Director and Accompanist Joanna Newton has been a vocalist and elementary music specialist here in Cottage Grove for 23 years.
