Breaking News: Gold Strike in Bohemia City

Friday Afternoon, July 15th

Today the Bohemia Mine Owners Assoication announced they've found GOLD in Coiner Park's Bohemia City!!!

Being the nice, friendly folks they are they're even willing to invite you to share it, too!

Find the BMOA area in the back of Coiner Park [between Adams Avenue and the swings] and learn all about how miners lived waaaay back then and see how miners are still finding gold up in them thar hills today! 

For a small fee you can pan for gold yourself and keep what you find. They'll show you how and will even put it in a special container and send it home with you.

Please stop by and say hi! Tell them ol' Renegade (the miner pictured here) sent ya.

GREAT activity for kids of all ages. Y'all Come!

Where's the FREE Parking?

The hub of the Bohemia Mining Days Festival is Coiner Park, with the carnival set up across Main Street just north of the Post Office.   Below is a list of parking locations that are available, some have limitations as noted.

BREAKING NEWS: Showers Dampen Sunday Schedule

Unseasonal showers stopped the live entertainment for the final day of the 2011 Bohemia Mining Days Festival.

Festival Coordinator Alan Payment said the park is pretty soggy and most festival-goers were staying away.

On a positive note, he said the Bi-Mart Family Fun Zone and some hearty vendors stayed put and the Carnival would operate in the afternoon if weather permitted. He also said he was pleased with the record crowds on Friday and Saturday night and thanked everyone for making this year's festival a success -- despite the unexpected rain.
