BMD Chuckwagon Breakfast

In the spirit of the brave souls of the Oregon Trail who were accustomed to chuck wagon fare, the Cottage Grove Kiwanis Club and the BMD Board of Directors invites you enjoy your own chuck wagon breakfast.

In 2004, former Festival Coordinator Sharon Jean suggested there be a breakfast in Coiner Park on Sunday mornings for those who chose to stay in town and not make the annual trek to the Breakfast on the Mountain event. The breakfast has grown in popularity each year.

Proceeds from this meal support the Bohemia Mining Days Festival and Kiwanis charitable activities in our community.

WHEN:  Sunday, July 22

WHERE: Bohemia City (Coiner Park)

TIME:  7:30 - 9:30 a.m.

MENU: Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, link sausage, coffee and juice

COST: $6 per person

The Aktion Club

Sponsored by local Kiwanians and designed for adults with special needs who want to make valuable contributions to the community. Aktion Club members and their mentors meet during the school year on Mondays at 3 p.m. at OLPH Catholic Church Parish Hall.
