Cottage Grove Historical Museum
Travel back in time by including a visit to the Cottage Grove Museum as part of your Bohemia Mining Days experience this year.
For the past 50+ years, historically minded residents have volunteered countless hours to collect, catalog, and display a wide variety of artifacts that depict Cottage Grove’s interesting and colorful history.
Plan on a visit to see portraits & pictures from the 1800 and early 1900’s as well as antique mining and logging equipment. On display now are newly unpacked vintage clothing including bloomers, wedding outfits and a genuine, beaver fur top hat. One of the most popular attractions is a coat worn by a local resident who survived the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.
You won’t want to miss this wonderful collection of Cottage Grove memorabilia.
Cost: Free admission and donations are welcome.
