Supper in the Mine

Sometimes not being able to see what you're eating is a good thing.

Sponsored by Automotive Grinding Service

Open to all age groups.

So you’re down in the mine and it’s your turn to prepare supper.  Prospectors, of course, are widely renowned as willing to eat just about anything that doesn’t eat them first, but for some reason, you’ve got the most finicky prospectors in the district dining with you this evening, so you’re stuck catering to their preferences.

You’ll have a pile of mixed, dried beans and peas and the like in front of you, and you’ve gotta sort this pile into individual bowls by type - one bowl for peas, one bowl for beans, and one bowl for lentils.  So far, not so tough, right?

The thing is, there’s no point in traipsing all the way out of the mine to eat, so you’ll be doing all of this in pitch darkness.  Yep, we’re gonna blindfold you, and you’ve gotta separate out the miners’ suppers by touch.  First one done wins the contest, along with the pride and praise of a persnickety pack of the pickiest prospectors to ever put pick to peak!

Prizes: $10 and 5 Feud Points to the winner; 3 Feud Points to second place; 1 Feud Point for each participant.
