Costume Day

Open to all age groups.

Saturday, July 21 is Costume Day, and we encourage everyone to show up at the festival in appropriate costume.  It doesn’t have to be an extravagant costume either; as long as it comports with the general feel of the festival (the American West circa 1850 - 1915, so no Spider-Man or Darth Maul costumes, please), you’ll fit right in!

To sweeten the pot, anyone who makes a halfway-decent attempt at a period costume (and shows up at Bohemia City Hall to be photographed) will receive five Feud Points as our way of saying thanks for helping keep the atmosphere of Bohemia Mining Days alive.  So if you want your side of town to win, exhort your friends and neighbors to participate in Costume Day, 'cause five points a head is nothing to sneeze at!

Prizes: 5 Feud Points for each appropriately-costumed participant.
