Cherry Pit Spittin' for Accuracy

Open to all age groups.

For this contest, all you've gotta do is eat a cherry and then spit the pit into the official Bohemia Mining Days Spittoon (hopefully with a satisfyingly cartoonish "CLANG!" sound).  Of course, this being a contest, we've gotta complicate things just a bit.

Firstly, everybody's gotta stand behind a line, and the spittoon is a small distance away.  Still not terribly difficult, but it gets moreso, you see, because once everyone's had a go, the folks who missed are out of the running for the prize.  The spittoon is moved further away from the line and everyone who hit the target in the first round takes another shot.  This continues until the spittoon is so far away that we're down to one competitor, at which point said competitor is declared the winner!
