Travel back in time to Cottage Grove in the 1930's...
The Arcade Theater and the Cottage Grove Historical Society present The Morelock Films. Local filmmaker Crip Morelock once owned the two downtown theaters: The Diane and The Arcade. He filmed community events and then showed them in his two theaters.
The Arcade Theater is part of the Opal Center For Arts and Education. The Opal Center is a distinctive arts, education and cultural center which seeks the active participation of the entire community. The Center strives to "make creating art accessible, affordable, and enjoyable in Cottage Grove, because a creative community is a healthy community."
