Greetings!

As Governor of Oregon, I am pleased to welcome you to the 53rd annual Bohemia Mining Days Festival in Cottage Grove. This event was originally started to celebrate Oregon's centennial and has come to be an annual tradition.

Bohemia Mining Days celebrates an important aspect of our state's diverse heritage and promotes an interest in local history. These days are filled with activities that provide fun and entertainment for the whole family. I encourage everyone to enjoy the summer and learn more about the history of Oregon by participating in this event.

This year's celebration is four fun-filled days including this year’s "The Feud: Slabtown vs. Lemati" that will continue in future years to help folks celebrate (via friendly competitions) Cottage Grove's colorful Victorian era. On behalf of the citizens of Oregon, best wishes for a fun-filled event.
